Finding the right products for your extension or garden room can be only half the battle. Whether you’re sourcing kitchen units, flooring or glazing, it’s often the people behind the product that make all the difference.
Time and time again, our customers tell us that working with us is a real pleasure. Yes, they love the quality sliding doors they buy from us, but they also appreciate our smooth and seamless customer service.
So, what’s it like to work with Minima Sliding? We thought we’d outline the process so you know exactly what to expect when you get in touch. We also hope you’ll gain an understanding of the way in which we always put you – the customer – first. From that initial phone call right through to your final installation day, your needs are our priority.
It doesn’t matter what stage you’re at when you first get in touch with us. Maybe you’re exploring different kinds of glazing options? Or maybe you know you want sliding doors, but you’re still trying to decide which supplier to go for? Whatever the situation, just give us a call or drop us an email and we’ll happily answer any questions you may have. And don’t worry, we’re not salesy in the least. We’ll here to help you, not hound you with calls and emails!
Many of our clients already have architectural drawings in place when they get in touch, and if that’s the case we’ll happily provide a quote on that basis for your doors. We work hard to make sure your quote will be easy to understand with all the costs clearly laid out. But if you’re earlier on in the process, that’s fine, too. We can help bring your ideas to life with advice on panel sizes and different door configurations.
If you need help finding the right architect for your project, we recommend taking a look at the Royal Institute of British Architects’ website. You can search for a registered architect in your area with experience relevant to your project. Alternatively, just ask us, and most likely we can recommend a good architect in your area we have worked with before.
If you’re still weighing up which glazing supplier to choose, we suggest you pay a visit to one of our showrooms. It’s quite hard to differentiate between glazing brands online, and lots of our customers tell us the penny only drops when they see the amazing quality of our doors in the flesh. That’s when they realise how large our pane sizes are (up to 9 sqm), how narrow the frame sightlines are (only 20mm all round) and how smoothly and easily the doors slide.
Make an appointment to visit us at our welcoming showroom in Kent. We’d be delighted to show you exactly how our award-winning sliding doors work and how we can create a bespoke set of doors specific to your requirements.
We can advise on door styles and panel configurations, and show you the range of frame colours available – all with marine-grade powder coating as standard. We can also show you exactly how floating corners work if this is something you’d like to incorporate into your design. As well as our brochure, you can take frame samples away with you to try at home, and track samples to show your builder.
Once we understand your requirements for your new quality sliding doors, the next stage is for you or your builder to prepare the openings in accordance with our clear guidance. Then it’s time for one of our highly experienced surveyors to visit you on site. They will take careful measurements and gather all the necessary information to pass the products into manufacturing.
The commitment to excellence you’ll experience with the Minima Sliding team is second to none. Everything is done in house which means that everyone – from our sales staff to our installers – are experts in what they do. Our approach is to ‘take one product and do it really well’. We design, manufacture and install the UK’s leading slimline aluminium door system. That’s all we do and it shows. We have full control over every aspect of the process and we believe this is why our doors offer the best possible quality and value to you.
With the survey complete, your requirements will be passed to our manufacturing team who will start work on your bespoke quality sliding doors. Every door is made to your specific requirements, but this doesn’t mean you have to wait months for your doors to be ready. Quite the opposite.
We always have plenty of stock of our award-winning frames in all four available colours. This means that supply chain problems are much less of an issue for you on your build, which is one less headache to worry about.
Our in-house installation team are dedicated to fitting Minima’s Ultraline doors day in day out. That means they are highly skilled at fitting our products and extremely experienced at dealing with any obstacles that may arise.
Our installers will attend to carry out the detailed installation process. 90% of our projects are completed within just one day, which means that you can get on with enjoying your beautiful new sliding doors.
It’s rare for our customers to experience any problems with our doors after installation, but if there are any issues we will always resolve them as quickly as possible. Our high customer satisfaction levels are just one of the reasons why we won the Best Glazed Doors category in the 2019 Build It Awards and Highly Commended Door Supplier at the 2021 Homebuilding & Renovating Awards.
